No. CareRing uses 3 technologies to Search and Locate. This is where all other location products run into difficulty. If someone needs to be located in conditions where there is no cell service or GPS reception, CareRing produces a RF radio “ping” that enables the Police or Search and Rescue to find it quickly.This is on a frequency that is standard with Project Lifesaver or local Police.
