Our system is designed to locate the CareRing anywhere in the United States within the expansive AT&T service area and anywhere in Canada within the Rogers service area. If the CareRing enters an area without GSM (or cell phone) coverage, the GPS feature will not be able to report its current location until it re-enters an area with network coverage. However the RF Ping produced by the CareRing can be tracked by Police. If you travel outside your respective country, then CareRing will use the roaming partners to transmit the location.
