You will not receive any alerts until your cell is turned on. However, the CareRing Smart Alert will sequentially try to get a response from the registered caregiver list. It will continue to send alerts until one of the caregivers takes ownership of the alarm.

My Dad had a pendant around his neck and he did not like it and he would hide it in a drawer or forget to put it on.
