In Home Mode without any elopements you will get about 12-14 days of battery life. However, we suggest that you charge the CareRing in the cradle on the Base Station once a week. If Search Mode is triggered the device should be recharged immediately upon recovery. If battery power can no longer support cellular/GPS operation in Search Mode an additional 48 hours of search time is still available for a Police or Search and Rescue search using the RF Beacon tracking facility. There is no other product like the CareRing.
