Is the Base Station connected to the CareRing Bracelet?

Yes, by a low power RF signal. This connects and pairs the bracelet to the base in the Normal HOME mode. It is one of the reasons that the CareRing battery life is so efficient.

How long does it take to charge the CareRing bracelet and the base station back up battery?

Charging the CareRing bracelet can take up to 6 hours at first, but it can be used after 2 hours of charging. The Base Station back up battery charges automatically when the base station is plugged in with the USB power cable.

No. The CareRing and the Base Station are paired as a set when you receive them.

How are the alarms from the base station provided?

Both visual flashing and audible alarms are provided when there is a safety zone departure or bracelet removal within the safety zone.

How do I power or charge the Base Station?

The Base Station has its own battery system. There is an AC adapter provided with a mini USB plug. Just leave it plugged in. It is designed to stay charged and will provide 36 hours of useage if power is lost.
