Do I need to log in each time I access the application?
You will have to key in your username, password and CareRing device ID each time unless your computer or smartphone is set up to remember your credentials.
Can anyone with a Smartphone access the Locate and Tracking function?
No, only the caregivers you have set up and have registered.
How do I access the CareRing App?
The CareRing App will allow you to check status and locate with your computer or Smartphone. It will do everything you need on a regular useage basis. Full details will be provided.
How many Caregivers can I have to help out?
You can have up to 5 caregivers in total, each with an email and phone number. One caregiver can monitor multiple CareRing Bracelets.
Do I need to buy a special Smartphone?
No, any smartphone or tablet with access to the internet will work fine.
Do I need my own Contract with my cell provider?
No, erything you need is included in your monthly service. No separate contract is required. Your CareRing enjoys the coverage of AT&T’s expansive GSM network in the USA and Rogers in Canada
Do I have to set up a Contact List when I register a CareRing profile?
The contact information you provide during purchase will be the Main Caregivers’ information. You can edit or add to your contact list at any time. Other than the profile for the main caregiver, your contact list does not need to be set up initially.
What information can I enter about the person wearing the CareRing?
There is basic information as well as many optional fields that you can fill in which may help the search process by Police. This includes Emergency Medical Contacts, Medical Conditions, and Special Needs as well as a picture to assist if a search is necessary.
Can I see the History of the tracking?
Yes, it is available for 90 days and is then archived.
