How fast do I get notified when my Dad leaves the house?

CareRing uses an RF signal and that is IMMEDIATE. The alert will come to your home computer and the mobile phone and of course, the flashing lights and audible voice on the Base Station.

Depending on the model you have you will receive alerts for Safety Zone elopement, Temperature limit infractions, Open bracelet, Low Battery and possible falls.

Does the CareRing work the same in all locations?

Yes and No. It depends on wherever there is cell and a unobstructed view of the sky. The CareRing works best in suburban areas such as neighborhoods, houses, schools, parks, and flatter regions. It can receive a GPS signal better in those areas because it has less obstruction to the GPS signal.

What happens if there is no cell coverage in the area?

CareRing can work without cellular coverage or monthly cellular fees. It will work and provide alerts within the Safety Zone that you set up. You will also have the RF search method as a backup if needed.
